Calculating Your Birth Numbers

The first step in creating your personal Lo Shu Grid is to calculate the key numbers that will populate the grid. These numbers are derived from your birthdate, which provides insight into your life’s path, challenges, and strengths.

For creation of Lo Shu grid, we require date of birth first then calculate psychic/ Moolank/ driver number, destiny/ Bhagyank/ conductor number and Kua number.

Psychic Number (Moolank)

Psychic Number is an important number in numerology. It is helpful in planning day-to-day life events. A Psychic number is also called the driver number or Moolank. The psychic number reveals the way a person looks at oneself. It affects what one expects and desires. It tells about your inner-self. How you think, behave and perceive the Universe is majorly defined by your Psychic number.

How to Calculate Psychic Number

Psychic number is calculated by adding the birth date number and finding its single number.

For Example: If your date of birth is 25 March 1985. Now birthday is on 25, 2 + 5=6, 6 is the Psychic number here

If date of birth is 10 April 1980: 1+0 = 1 is Psychic number.

Destiny Number (Bhagyank)

Destiny Number is also called as Life Path number / Conductor number or Bhagyank. Destiny Number tells about the fate of a person. The Destiny Number reveals how a person’s life will be and what a person will receive in life. It also helps predicting life’s important events. Destiny Number is an important Number in Numerology. It is helpful in the long-term planning of events.

How to Calculate Destiny Number

Destiny Number/ Bhagyank number is calculated by adding the person’s date of birth and then reducing the obtained number into a single-digit number.

For Example,

If your date of birth is 25 March 1985.

Then 2+5+3+1+9+8+5= 33= 3+3=6 is Bhagyank

If Date of birth is 12 June 2001: 1+2 +6+2+1= 12= 1+2=3 is destiny number.

Destiny Number (Bhagyank)

This is a system of numerology which is based on your birth year and sex, adding these numbers together and reducing them to a single digit is what is known as the Kua number. It is sometimes referred to as the Eight Mansions, the Eight house system or your personal trigram. Some numerologists do ignore adding the Kua number in Lo-Shu Grid chart because one needs to be careful and take note of some things during the calculation. Before we start calculating the Kua number, here are a list of what should be taken into consideration.

• The way of calculating a Kua number of a male and female will be different
• 5 cannot be a Kua number but instead, 2 and 8 will be replaced for male and female respectively
• If born before February 4, you’re too considered the year before

How to Calculate Your Kua Number

For Male:

• Add all the numbers in the year of birth and reduce to its single digit then subtract the result from 11

If you get 5, your personal Kua number is 2.

For example, a male born in July 24, in the year 1981. Add all the numbers and reducing to single digit 1977 = 1 + 9 + 7 + 7 = 24 2 + 4 = 6 Subtracting the result from 11 11 – 6 = 5 If you get 5 for a male, 2 will be the Kua number. Therefore, his personal Kua number will be 2

For Female:

• Add all the numbers in the year of birth and reduce to its single digit then add 4 to the result.
• If you get 5, your personal Kua number will be 8

For example, a female born in January 6 in the year, 1960 Because she was born before Feb 4, the year before, 1959 will be considered. Adding all the numbers and reducing to single digit 1959 = 1 + 9 + 5 + 9 = 33= 3 + 3 = 6 Adding 4 to the result 6 + 4 = 10 =1 + 0 = 1 Therefore, her personal Kua number is 1.

Example: For a male born in July 24 1978 Add together the year numbers 1978 = 1 + 9 + 7 + 8 = 25 2 + 5 = 7

Subtracting the result from 11, 11 – 7 = 2

Therefore, his personal Kua number is 2.

Step-1: Input is Date of Birth

Step-2: Fill the all numbers of date of birth as per Standard Lo Shu Grid

Step-3: Calculate Moolank (Psychic Number) and Bhagyank (Destiny Number)

Step-4: Calculate Kua Number and fill it in the Grid

Note: If birth date is 1 to 10 then don’t enter two times

Example-1: Date of Birth of male is 15 Jan 1979 (15-01-1979)

Step-1: Date of Birth: 15-01-1979 (Male)

Step-2: 1, 5, 1, 1, 9, 7, 9

Step-3: Moolank= 1+5 = 6 and Bhagyank = 1+5+1+1+9+9+7 = 33 = 3+3= 6

Step-4: Kua Number = 1+9+7+9= 26=2+6=8; 11-8= 3
